Radians Nevada Facility Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Radians Quality Manager, Steve Clark, is pleased to announce that our Sparks, Nevada location just completed their first ISO 9001:2008 certification audit with no findings identified, which means a perfect score. Congratulations to all the employees at our Nevada facility!
The requirements for certification revolve around established management principles including the implementation of a quality management system, management commitment, resource management, control of products and processes, and continual improvement. Improved risk management, reduced operating costs via process improvement, and increased customer satisfaction through the delivery of consistent products are three of the major benefits of system implementation.
Radians has established a corporate goal to have our Sparks, NV and Belmont, MI branches added to the scope of the existing ISO 9001:2008 before the end of the 3rd quarter of this year. Memphis has been certified to the ISO 9001:2008 International Standard for Quality Management Systems since September of 2011, and has already completed the required annual surveillance audit for this year. Next on the list? Michigan will be audited for certification August 29-31.
